About the Role

Matchday is in search of our a QA & Localization Manager to join our European Game Studio Team.

What You'll Do

• Game Localization
  • Work closely with external localization partner(s)
  • Send strings for translation for all Matchday games and website properties
  • Build Matchday specific localized vocabulary over time
  • Select and implement localization software to store our translations and optimize workflow
  • Set up localization testing (ie do strings fit into the available screen space)
  • Set up localization QA (ie catching any spelling or grammatical errors, and ensuring the translated text fit within the game context )
• Game Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Create game test builds of our mobile game (iOs and Android) for internal testing, for external testing and final builds for submission to the app stores
  • Create game test cases for all Matchday games (mix of web and mobile experiences)
  • Select and implement QA software (eg TestRail or equivalent)
  • Perform testing for all games, using mix of manual and automated testing
  • Work closely with external testing partner(s), including scheduling testing, Training, Documentation
  • Submit game updates to the app stores, including versioning, updated descriptions and updated marketing assets
  • Clearly describe and log bugs using Linear, including internal bug reports from play testing & feedback sessions, and bug reports coming from the community
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to development team, not only testing, but for the overall quality of the experiences (eg UI/UX etc)

You Have

• 5 years of QA and localization experience in mobile video games
• Excellent operational and coordination skills of projects with many variables
• Worked closely with small and fast moving teams
• A strong sense of initiative and drive as individual contributor
• Comfortable both using and establishing QA and localization tools and processes
• Great collaboration skills with partners and stakeholders
